I have a black, white headed polish roo that is about 3 months. He is free of anyone wants him. He doesn't have all of his bigboy feathers . He is very nice and we handle him everyday.

Is there anyone here in Pasco or Hernado county that has Silkie or Sumatera pullets for sale ? I was heartbroken to have to rehome my 2 young Silkie Roo's and would like a hen or two to add to my flock of 8 pet chickens.

Our replacement chicks just shipped today. Crossing my fingers that when we call USPS tomorrow they can finally tell me which location in Jacksonville they will be at.  They arrived at USPS at 4:55am yesterday, so I'm guessing they are already closing in on 48 hours old this evening.


No wonder we had horrible survival rates last time, they were already 80+ hours old by the time they got here on Tuesday morning as they shipped them at a similar time on Saturday the previous time as well.   No more shipped hatchery chicks, I think. Now that we have a good local hatchery that raises better quality birds, any other breeds he doesn't have will just have to be hatched from eggs!

Not sure if you've already mentioned this, I haven't read too many past posts yet. But, where in Jax is the local hatchery and what breeds do they have? We are in OP and I'm looking for a few replacement babies for the one we just recently lost.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some hens I'm in the Tampa area. We're having a rooster to hen ratio issue and are looking to add 4 more hens. So if anyone has idea of any breeders or any has any hens for sale in the Tampa area.

What breeds are you looking for? Russell's Feed in Middleburg has chicks. RIR, sexlinks, barred rocks, jersey giants to name a few. I bought from them last week and the chicks are wonderful.

I have a friend who breeds and sells Silkies, Blue, Black, Splash, White, all straight run at the moment. She has chicks. She may have some young pullets also. She is located in Hudson.
