Hello!
I frequent this site for information but have not really contributed/posted in many threads.
We are in North Florida (Lake City area, technically McAlpin) and have had chickens the past 3 years or so.
We've owned Cream Legbars, White Bresse, French Black Copper Marans, Wheaten Ameraucanas, Silkies, Bielefelders, Svart Hona (Swedish Black Hen) and Ayam Cemani
Wow, seems like a lot now that it's typed out! We currently focus on Bielefelders as they are our favorite breed we've ever had. However, we also just started back up with French Black Copper Marans (We got our stock from Greenfire Farms who just recently imported and started to sell their BCMs and we also have some from Little Peddler) We are currently building up our flock of Ayam Cemani and Swedish Black Hens. All of our Cemani, Swedish Black, and Bielefelders were purchased directly through Greenfire, as well as majority of our BCM's, we opted for farm pick up as we are only an hour and a half from there.
I don't know why I waited so long to get on here and talk chickens, or what else to say in this introduction, but I'm excited to be involved now!![]()
