Such an eggciting day. We have our first egg!

Congratulations!!! It is always eggciting to get especially your first egg. I still get eggcited everyday that I go out and collect them.

Our next Dunnellon Tractor Supply Company Farm Swap will be Saturday November 12th. We are still planning or Crystal River Mall Rural King Farm swaps on Saturday November 26th and on Saturday December 24th (Christmas Eve day).

We finally bought our first home. Better late than never, right? Got the stakes, and string all in place, so it's all squared up where we want to put the posts in for the coop. Went day before yesterday to buy a truckload of sand, which will be delivered Monday. After we get the sand spread (about 6 inches deep), I will get a load of clean fill dirt. That should raise all the low areas high enough, and provide plenty of drainage, so the coop will stay dry.
