Years ago we had the swaps at our farm but then hubby was concerned if someone got hurt our insurance wouldn't cover anyone getting hurt, so we asked TSC and did it the first couple of months on a trial basis and it went well so they invited us to have our swap monthly. Right now there is some construction going on around there but we are still holding our monthly swaps and surprisingly most of the regular people and a few new ones are showing up.

We advertise 9 to 1 but most vendors are there between 7 and 8. We used to go to around 2pm but by that time in the summer, it is HOT out so we cut it back to 1pm. People can stay until later if they want but most are ready to go. Recently Rural King offered to let us to hold our monthly swaps weekly but for most people the monthly is better.

Yes, I'm good with a monthly swap.. I already have two fish clubs and one plastic fine scale modeling club monthly meetings (yes, I build little war airplanes and cars, lol).. It's nearly a two hr drive for me, but I can make it.. One of my fish club meetings is in Holiday, FL. Pasco County.. I go every month..

I'm in Lakeland.. Love Ocala, driving thru all those horse farms is amazing.. Pembroke Pines is a beautiful place too.. I was going to move there one time, but was told I was about $1.5 million short, I only had $17.57.. I did live in West Palm Beach for about three yrs.. Loved the place.., but had to come back to the tranquil life in the backwoods of Lakeland..
