Dang it! I did end up going, but forgot to check back here. I ended up getting 7 babies that day. They are all grown up now!
We are building a new coop in the next couple of months. I can wait!
I forgot to mention that for the months of August and possibly September we will be holding out Dunnellon TSC Farm Swap at the Crystal River Rural King while construction goes on at the shopping center where the Dunnellon TSC is located and there is more shade for these next couple of hot months.

Stay away from deep litter and use sand.Hey there fellow south Floridians! I am in Palm Beach County and my coop is in desperate need of a make over! With all this rain we've been getting it is a muddy mess. I am torn between sand and deep litter method and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on which would be best in our climate? My main concern is that my run is not covered and I don't plan to cover it. What would my other options be? TIA!!
