How exciting! We have Silverudd Blues growing out and look forward to their green eggs with brown speckles. We have blue egg layers but none lay as big as those ladies are giving you.

these hens are about 2 years old, i give them a good complete feed called Kalmbach Henhouse Reserve complete chicken, bit pricey but most certainly an exceptional chicken feed, am very pleased with the results, chickens are happy, healthy, alert, and the plumage is outstanding. i started using this feed about 1 1/2 years ago when i was feeding them the Dumor brand from Tractor supply, hens had stopped laying eggs, all 52 of them at the same time, tried all kinds of things and additives, it was only after i started to use the Kalmbach that i started to notice a bloom in them and the eggs improved in size and production shortly after that, to this day. the highlight of my day is to arrive at the ranch and see how many eggs i can put in the basket! all layers eggs.jpg

Hey,
I live in Hudson, FL about an hour from Tampa.
I was wondering if any one near me had any guinea fowl hens available they were trying to sell or rehome? Or any silkies that are around 21-week-old to 25 weeks old and some bantams around the same age that would pair well with my crele bantam rooster?

I have a silkie Rooster and two silkie hens. I'm looking to add two more hens to their flock.
And I have a crele bantam rooster, a self blue bantam hen, and a white cochin bantam hen that I'm looking to add two more to their flock as well.

Pictures of my silkie babies added just for show. (They are inside in the photos because hurricane helene was about to hit.)

few of them will lay green eggs, im growing out a few Starlight's that are supposed to give me nice deeper green egg color, they are just now coming into age for egging, cant wait to see how green the eggs will be
Oh yeah! Please let us know how that goes with the green eggs.
I purchased 2 Moss Eggers from Alchemist Farms (they sent us three), but unfortunately out of the 5 straight run chicks we got in that delivery, all three Moss Eggers turned out to be roos. I was stoked the two FBCMs were both females though! It made up for having no Moss Egger females.
I’ll be curious to see what comes from chicks of our Moss Egger roo though. The dark green egg gene will likely not pass on, but who knows. If anyone knows, please school me. 😋

Hello everyone :) I am located in Miami, Florida. I'm looking to get some hens for my home. I'm starting up a chicken coop with a spacious backyard. Is anyone looking to rehome hens?

Let me know!

your in Miami, mee too, just as an fyi there is a Tractor Supply Company on Pines Blvd and prolly 222 street going east 954-437-3071 in Pembroke Pines, right off of Okeechobee Road. they have an Information Notice Board near the rear of the store where the cattle, goat, and hog feed are, you'd see some cool posts there of people needing to rehome chickens, quails, rabbits and stuff, you should look up the store, good variety of products, bit pricey though, you should also look up Robbies Feed and supplies 305-247-1256 on Krome Avenue heading south NW 232 Street, its considered Homestead down there, agriculture farming, good Information Board there as well....good luck!
