Thats why I prefer northern Florida Its been in the 60's all week until about 9:30 10:00 Of course it still hits 90 in the afternoon but even today we were abler to sit outside on the porch and feel a wonderful cool breeze. And once the sun sets its been wonderfully cool. I hated coming inside this morning in fact DH and I sat outside until almost 1:00 PM Come on fall my favorite time of year.

Yes even here in south west florida there is a difference, Mike and I sat out in the Lanai until 11:00 this morning and just watched the chickens. I am going to pick up some babies from Bobbi oct 2 and I am so excited I can't even think about it !!!!! My little yorkie Lillyana loves the chickens, we will say Lilly go check on your chickens and she jumps up and goes to look at them. If we say Lilly go check your peeps she runs to check on the babies. I hope these babies turn out to be hens. I can't have a roo in town and I get so attached by the time I can tell the difference it kills me to have to give up the roos. Attached to chickens, I love being different

I am for sure getting a white, a splash, and a partridge. I put a deposit on those but may also get a buff. Bobbi said she may have one by then. No I don't live in Jacksonville I live in North Port. I am so excited !!
