Thank you! I joined the Plymouth Rock club this year and have started off with Bantam Columbian Rocks (shipped eggs from Dick Horstman), but I know it will be difficult to work with that color pattern. Whites would help me learn to develop type and I would be able to offer the 4-H & FFA kids in this area some quality Rocks for their county fair. Here's some pics of my bantam Columbian Rock cockerel and 3 pullets:

I will send you a few articles on how to breed Columbian PLymouth Rocks. I have to articles. Also, have articles on buff, silver pencilled, and barred.

Those are some excelelnt bantams you got there. Hard to think you got this qualtiy from eggs. Dick has some good bantams and large fowl.

I have a frined in the Pensacola area that has my large fowl and Dicks Partridge Plymouth Rocks.

The whites will be great for the kids to have as well as you.

Glad you are a member of the Plymouth Rock Club.

Mine came from good strains and have had them for eight years. bob

I have my trusty Brinsea Octagon 20 incubator to thank for hatching the shipped eggs I get; that was one of the best poultry purchases I've made, yet. I'm going to enter the Columbian Bantams into the Sunshine Classic at Lake City, FL in January (it will be my first show!). It would be great to read those articles; I've got a pair of Bantam Barred Rocks also hatched from Mr. Horstman. My email is [email protected]

Hi to texasgal!

I just trapped a female bobcat about 1or 2 yrs old but not before I lost some of my stock. I used a large trap with a separate 2layered wire cage for bait. caught her about 9 am. She was in good shape but a little lean. Relocated her to a private place.
