Let me know if you or anyone you know wants to buy a Rhode Island Red or a Blue Rock rooster. I have them in my meat bird pen and they're destined to be dinner guests unless someone wants them to husband their hens. I plan to start processing in April, in batches of 6 or 8 at a time. These guys and their 16 roommates are hassling the hens in my layer flocks. My 2 main roosters are weary from kicking cockerels off of "their" hens. We're in western West Palm Beach.

THE DUCKS ARE HATCHING!! lol

Sons class project eggs are pipping. Problem is I have to transport home tomorrow no matter what, next eek is spring break here. I do have a dash plug I can plug the incubator into for the ride home.


Just ordered a new Brinsea for myself too, cause the hatching bug bit me hard.

Todays menagerie includes friends Shelty, Ginger until the 3rd. Ginger even going camping with us.

We are getting closer to retirement I hope you have some chick/pullet, cockerels available in about 6 months....... both of the boys in that post are so handsome. I have never seen a Blue Rock............

I might like to give hatching a try - if you know of anyone that has a small incubator for lend or sell !
