Is anyone planning a swap in or near SE Fla any time soon? Or is there anyone in SE Fla in the market for some chicks or chickens? I have a lot of beautiful mixed-breed chicks of assorted ages & colors that I want to move along. The girls will make reliable layers of brown or green eggs, and the boys will be handsome & colorful. I'm in western West Palm Beach.

My chickens are special.

I was going to put them up for the night around 8 when one of those wonderful Florida suprise storms started. You know the ones that come out of nowhere and drop 3" of rain in 2 minutes. So I figure that it will end in 5 minutes and surely my chickens are smart enough to go in the coop to stay dry. After 5 minutes with no letup in the rain I just had a feeling. So I went to take a peek and sure enough; they were sitting on the perimeter fence where they try to sleep every night, completely soaked.
Yep. Special chickens.
