You all have me cracking up!! Just went out to check the trap...something moved the drumstick, so it was jammed under the lever that activates the trap door. This is so exciting I want to stay up all night. Hope to catch one mad as heck raccoon soon!

Lisa I wouldn't waste my time staying awake just to catch a stinkin coon.When you wake up your coon will still be there but tie the meat tothe trap or the coon will take it without getting caught.they are very clever.

I grew up with neighbors you'd swear came straight from the set of The Beverly Hillbillies (they'd even run moonshine in the old days)! Different from me, but nice people though. I guess if I have all night to wait for a raccoon, I really need to get a life! Tying the bait is a good tip. The trap is out on the boat pad, so hopefully all my neighbors will get to see my catch as they go to work tomorrow. They already think I'm crazy for catching the water moccassin, so they'll probably just shake their heads and keep driving.

Anyone looking for a RIR rooster to add to their flock?! I wouldn't mind allowing my 6 month old boy, Big Red, to find a home that allows chickens / roosters, where he can woo girls that he is NOT related too

I am NOT looking to relocate him to someone that just wants to eat him...(I'll put a diaper on his ass and keep him in my house before THAT happens!!! I say that because my chickens are illegal, and I'm waiting for the city to show up now that he crows...lol...bring it....I'll pay the fines

Anyways, if anyone wants a beautiful boy to add to their flock, please let me know...I'm located in Pinellas but don't mind driving a bit for the perfect home!
