We're all ok thankfully. Thank you for asking! I had my 2 oldest & my niece in the van with me and it was the absolute worst experience of my life (so far)... But they were all in their carseats in the back & didn't even realize something had gone wrong til they saw me freaking out. lol... A car hit me & I hit a big SUV in front of me, but the car behind me fled so I got the ticket for "careless driving" but the lady I hit said she would vouch for me when I go to court to fight the ticket. (She's actually a friend of my mom's & aunt... THANK GOODNESS!)

Lucky! It's still pretty hot here during the day. & w/ the kids running around it can get hot inside too. But I love the cooler weather!

I was chatting, today, with one of my neighbors who doesn't like the idea of me getting a .22 to protect my flock...he suggested I use a pellet gun instead, but I doubt a pellet gun would stop a dog hell-bent on destruction. I did a lot of target practice with my dad when I was younger, and I am familiar with the SSS theory, so we'll see. I'd rather not ever kill or injure any creature, so it makes me angry that an irresponsible dog owner(s) in our neighborhood would create this unfortunate situation.

Like in your situation, what if the dogs decide to turn on us? It's just not right to be intimidated on one's own property!
