Thank You, How is the boy doing?

He's doing just fine. Did you know he can fly really really well at night. First night he got out over the ten foot top of the stalls. Found him at 5am the next day hunkered down in the fish pond. This used to be a fish farm and there are twenty of them. Had to put him in with the EE's which is where the old rooster was. The top of that stall is fenced. So much for quarantine. He has 6 hens and having a ball. Here's a pic of the run he is in.

I finally got a predator! He's a big, un-neutered pit bull (mix?). He came down the street this morning, and started to do what every stray does...sniffs around the front of each house, then goes around back. Problem is, when dogs get around the back of my property they see my animals and go into a frenzy. I'm positive this is the same dog I saved my little white rooster from a few months back. In retrospect it was stupid to approach him, because he's very wary/skiddish, but I'm on my way out of town for the weekend, and I couldn't leave him roaming - knowing my feathered friends were in danger! Animal control is on the way. I'm praying the rope holds.
