FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Sorry I haven't been on all day. Getting ready for my new peeps. They should be here tomorrow but according to postal service tracking they are still in Lebanon, Mo and have been there since yesterday morning. I don't think so LOL. I think they are cutting a few corners like the paper work. At least it has warmed up. I'm about done with this frigid weather.

Is there by any chance, anyone not too far from me who has a nice quality Black Orp roo who needs a new home? I know it's a long shot but I just thought I'd ask.

Called me at 6 am this morning. Got 2 peanuts, one of each breed. They marked the White Rock roo in green and from what I can tell the B. Leghorn isn't marked. Although it was supposed to be marked in blue. They are all active, drinking and eating already. Must have made good time since last night since according to PO tracking they were still in Missouri. Will post pics after they rest awhile.

I just have this Lav Orp (roo?) that needs a new home.. if it's a roo.. which I think it is.. :)

It does look like a male to me. How old? Right now I need a black typey male for a breeder pen. I'm just being impatient, I'm sure there's a nice one in my incubator as I type. But it will be several months before he's going to do the job I need him to do. lol. Soo I thought if I can possibly find a nice one somewhat local I can get a jump start on my plans.

Hi All,

Had some people contact me looking to get started in small backyard flocks. I don't have anything. So I sent them here. Can all of you please post and list what breed or breeds you have? If you can update once in a while what you have that would be great.

That way if someone sees what they want they can buy local. :D Lets support the local chooks first.

Thanks,

Maye
