Hey Central FL Peeps!

 
Anybody interested in getting some custom milled feed? I'm looking at whole grains, no soy, no animal fat, no fish meal, no meat & bone or blood meal & less corn.  I found a place that can make up a mix of alfalfa & several whole grains but the minimum is 300#.  Right now I can only use 150# reasonably. 

If you are interested in joining me or if you have another better source please let me know!  I'm in Sanford, btw.

I don't have a list yet...it will depend on what we want & what they can get. I know they have oats, barley, boss & alfalfa pellets. They have a 3 grain scratch that is corn, wheat & milo that my be okay if no other corn is added. they also add a vitamin mineral mix.

Honestly, I am new to all this I just know I don't want to feed soy, waste products or rendered animal products to my birds, my dogs, or me
I am open to suggestions....just looking for something better than nutrena layer. I'd
love to get some of that knockout gamebird in the other thread but no distributor within 120miles

I finally found a breeder about 4 hours away. Looks like We're gonna be in business this weekend!

that is great news! Many newbies (like myself) are unaware how many quality breeders are within driving time. And instead of getting a tiny baby, that you have to wait 6 months or so until you get eggs, you can pick out EXACTLY the birds you want

Well is nice to be back in here!!!!!

went to Anna Maria for 4 days and just got back I feel brand new.

xept for the part where my English orpington ( won champion in the English class in Inverness )

was killed by another roo that somehow got into it with him.

he was real big but not the fastest or in shape so he lost that fight

but at least he left me some 30 chicks on the ground.
