FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Those are about the cutest things I've ever seen! I'd love to have ducks, but I know nothing about caring for them, plus I'd be afraid of predators. We live on a farm in Ocala and I've lost many chickens to foxes and it's not been long since we've seen coyotes and bobcats on the property.

I keep her in a barred rock feather costume.

LOL!

Celtic Oaks those goslings are so cute. I really need to expand the goose pen. I love geese at any age.

Kim, we have bobcats, wild hogs, cyotes, raccoons ect. The ducks and geese get locked up at night in their houses just like the chickens do. They don't require a pond, kiddie pools work great and are easy to dump. Those goslings in the pictures get carried back to the brooder house each evening after being out to graze all day. Older ones are herded back to their stalls and houses. On a good night we can have everyone locked up in 30 minutes. All water buckets and food bowls are cleaned and filled at morning turn out. Then the doors are shut for the day (keeps raiding chickens out) and we open them to put everyone to bed.

Awww, I just love goslings at that age, still fluffy & soft, but getting so big & busy! Like great big teddy bears. The down near their tails is the softest. I've been hatching Embdens under my broody chickens here.

Stevie's, just 2? We need to get you a few more to help with the addiction. we have three cabinets running nonstop since last August now. Looking forward to turning them off for June, July, August, no incubating during most of hurricane season. Not worth the head aches during power loss.
