Looking for Indian runner ducks in central Florida......anyone have any? Can be fertile eggs, ducklings or adults.

Just upgraded my Brower Top Hatch THI20 incubator to digital heat control!!!! Can't wait to use it. I am trying to get some Rouen Duck eggs on eBay. If anyone close by wants to set eggs in my incubator, let me know.

I'm in Brandon Florida! Looking for 3 assorted hens & 1 Rooster that were raised as pets or willing to get chicks & raise myself. Had a fox mishap...ny pen & the floor have All Been rewired weather it needed it or not & everything seems to be fine, The 3 hens that are left are not a year yet Any suggestions as which way to go. I wasn't sure if I would be better with a small group that were raised as pets together or start with chicks. Of course they would be supervised when they got old enough to meet... for days if not weeks. Intro's will be short at 1st & longer as time goes on or perhaps a few teenage hens raised together maybe a better idea while my hens are still young???
Either way I'll need some chicks or young hens...3 hens & 1 rooster would be prefered assorted..lost a White Americana & a Rhode Island Red Rooster...have an Austrlope, a New Hampshire Red & a Buff Orpington raised as pets & together.
Looking for there replacements & to add a couple of more different hens...know any where I can get what I'm looking for close to Brandon Florida?! My last ones I got from Hillsborough County Fair!

I would appreciate any information or lead you could give me.

I am sorry to hear about the fox problem. I hope you have taken care of the structure and the fox?? I do have some Aussies that are near point of lay. I also have older Delaware and Barred Rock chicks/ pullets, some EE's out of my Delaware rooster and my Ameracauna hens. I have younger chicks in Barred and blue rock. The barred are very nice. Not sure what else I could find out there, but I have a lot of chickens right now! I am in Palmetto. P.M. me if you are interested in any of these. I also think you would be better off to get older chicks, approxamitly the same age as what you already have. They should settle in pretty quickly. .....stan

Hi all,

Boy a lot sure has happened in the past week or so. Sorry been too busy to be on here. Still trying to hunt down the packs of coyotes in the area. We got one, but was not the alpha male or female. The neighbors have also lost chickens, cats and goats to these packs. 7 other neighbor's that I know of have also been hit. Attacks are never at the same time, can be daylight or the middle of the night. Fla fish and game came out, said one of the packs is crossbred with strays, and has about 15 in the pack. So we are in deep $!#/.....

Oh Maye, I can't even imagine the stress you and your neighbors are under. Was fish and game able to do anything to help, or are you on your own?
