Unfortunately in the case of avians (birds) temperature does not affect the gender of the embryo the way it can with some reptiles. Sure would be nice if it could!

So true... I have experimented with different temperatures and no difference. I still get approximately 50/50.​

Would anyone be interested in edible plants for sale? I'll have more Okinawa spinach (handama) that grows great in shade, variegated oregano and probably Vick's plants ready by then. I might also have a few ice cream banana pups ready. And possibly some Jamaican sorrel (which my chickens LOVE the greens.)

I've also got a bunch of multi-colored mini popcorn plants started - way too many for my little garden. I'll bring those, and maybe a few other things.
