Just a suggestion As I mentioned before that my hoop house is too heavy to move, remember?
Well I've been thinking. PVC!! PVC with elbows & 3-way connections, and hardware wire either with zip ties
or the wire that holds the hardware wire in place.

I plan on 12 ft. X 7 ft. 3 ft. high. Basically an upside down box. All PVC, connections & wire
at Lowe's - $116.00. Will start on this project when gets just a shade warmer. Oh forgot some rope.

I would only use this for free ranging. Predators can dig under for chicken dinners.

Looks like the chicken math is really starting to add up for me, lol. I hatched out 5 Coronation Sussex chicks, and they all look to be pullets if what I've read and seen holds true for these little ones too, sagehenfarmlodi.com/chooks/sexingchicks.html . I also have some chicks shipping in from country hatchery either later this week or next week, 10 black australorp females, 2 black australorp males, 10 barred rock females, and 1 barred rock male. I'm planning on selling a bunch of the chicks tho, so I will be working on the subtraction side of the chicken math. Will be needing more chicken tractors otherwise

Lol yes it is XD im kinda excited and nervous at the same time cause this is my first time ever owning chickens and then i end up with a rooster!

They are useful, they do protect the hens, and usually keep the peace amongst the ladies. And it is nice waking up to them crowing inthe mornings
