Lots of rain and thunderstorms and funny palm trees that look like shriveled poor things - and Palm trees that look like the explosion of a firework. But also comfortable warm weather suited to lizards and palmettoes. And long, hilly bike paths. Worms are a rare sight, but they are crazy floppy dip spastic worms that make you stop and say "what the heck was that?"
The area is big, places are far apart, and it's peaceful and quaint.
