Flower Power, winter has been to long crochet swap, closes March 10

I'm a teacher and we have a class hamster. One weekend I left some of the students' work on top of the cage and he ate the bottom papers. I had to tell the kids "sorry the hamster ate your homework." Luckily it was just a minor assignment and they were happy with full credit.

I was trying to organize my stash when I came across several unfinished projects, no good can come from this!!!! An almost finished gannys flower garden, and two patterns I was working on for double wedding ring, well same pattern two diff colors, I think one was just w/ scraps I had at the time to see if my idea would work and the other was made w/ specific colors/yarn. I am going to try and finish those two projects anyway w/ the fusion blanket techique.

How is it that I can take my crocheting everywhere I go and never get to work on it. What law says that when I finally sit down either the hook or the directions are not in the bag. REALLY! Almost everytime!

It's the law that says the hook, the instructions and the yarn all have to be in the bag and you have to take the bag with you.

Okay someone kick me! I have been waiting to start my projects until I get some green (somehow in all my yarn I do not have green) but I forgot the green when I was in Walmart tonight!
I'll do the flower starts tonight I guess. And the. I'll have to go back into Walmart. Yuck. Oh how I loath Walmart. Lol

Oh me too, totally hate setting foot in Walmart, only do it under diress.

The good part of living near a large city lots of shops and restaurants. The bad part way to many people and not enough open space. I'm looking forward to retirement so I can move to a rural area.
