I won't have my kids take it, but I will. I know it was pushed through fast, but I would rather test it out for safety and side effects before I have my kiddo's doing it. My youngest son has a compromised immune system so I have to stay as healthy as possible. I'll do the tryout first

But, I'm not going to go out and do something stupid to speed the process up either.

We won't be doing it. There is swine flu in our area. We will continue to do our best to eat healthy, stay active, and the biggest things you can do against this flu is to be proactive with your health. Most the people who have died either choose to wait out the virus and didn't seek help in time, or the Drs that saw them didn't take them seriously. Pregnant women are told they are first in line, because some women lost their babies, but again, when you read the reports, its because people didn't take it seriously when they had symptoms and didn't give them any antiviral. So seems like staying healthy, getting enough sleep, and using basic hygene rules, such as hand washing, will give you a good shot at avoiding it, or at least being healthy enough to fight it off.

Im far more worried about having a new vax injected into myself or more so, my children.

Regular flu shot, yes. We have a diabetic in the house so we all get the regular flu shot. The H1M1, nah, not if I can help it.

The ONE and ONLY time in my 34 years of life that I got a flu shot, I ended getting pregnant the next month!!!!!! Now that may not seem like a big deal, but I was told by doctors that I would never be able to get pregnant and hadn't tried to avoid it for the first 5 years I was married. So HECK NO I ain't a gettin it, I'd probably end up pregnant again, but this time with a pig LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!

DH and DD will definitely get it. For me, my doctor has moved away, so I have some logistical concerns to deal with, but if I don't, it won't be because I'm afraid of the vaccine. Flu is nasty stuff; I think most of us underestimate it. It's not just sniffles and a cough.
