Fluid from back to front

Fluid build up sounds either like heart failure (can't get enough blood flowing so it "backs up) or liver failure (can't produce enough albumens for the blood so plasma leaks out of the circulatory system).

Best of luck!

the condition is called ASCITES and it is a symptom that occurs not only with cardiac/pulmonary insufficiency but with reproductive system problems as well ... you will need to drain the fluid (needle aspiration) however this will not do anything for the condition causing it...read here about it:

Tell me more about the aspiration. I want to help her as soon as possible

I'm not sure I understand the ASCITES--she's probably 3 years old and not a broiler????

Ascites is not specific to just broilers though there is a condition called ascites syndrome which is... ascites (fluid on the abdomen ) occurs with many things (see first article)
An avian vet will take a needle and withdraw the excess fluid ... it is a temporary measure treating the symptom and not the cause.
