How is the egg?

I incubate at around 30% humidity and lock-down at around 70% / 75%. That is where I have my best hatches.

The eggs are still shadowing (though one of the eggs we left under the original mother has already pipped internally!)
And that's about where I got my incubator

How long should shadowing last before the internal pip? (it's been about 24 hours and still nothing)

I've heard as long as three days sometimes, just be patient. A watched egg, never hatches.

We went in for a very quick candling, primarily to check on what we suspect is a dead egg. We did on a different egg see what might be an internal pip, but it is hard to tell.

Is this a pip, or just more shadowing?
