Today, my Dorking was sitting and about 30 minutes later she had come down, so I went to check for an egg. When I removed the egg, there was a wet spot where she had been. It was a mostly clear fluid with just a little white in it. I first thought that maybe someone had pecked the egg and it was fluid from the egg, but the egg appears to be unharmed. She (nor either of my other 2 hens) have exhibited any strange behavior otherwise. Anybody have any thoughts?
