Fly Predators & Diatomaceous Earth

I released 10,000 fly predators a couple weeks ago, but something just occurred to me. All my ducks bedding which is covering the whole floor of their run is mixed with Diatomaceous Earth I realized that if DE kills flies, it probably kills fly predators too. Looked it up and sure enough, it does. Do I need to completely remove the existing bedding since it's mixed with DE?

I contacted the company I got them from. They said it should be fine since it's been a month or so since I've applied the DE. So....
