Fly Problem....HELP!!!

I have a coop with 14 chickens and the flies in and around the coop are BAD!!!!! Can someone please give me some tips to eliminate this problem. We used to love sitting outside socializing with the girls at night but because of the fly issue we've been staying indoors!!! Please HELP!!!

Maybe a bag of pelletized lime would help -- dries up the poop and makes it unattractive to flies. I get in at my feed store; it's sold for ag use. Not that expensive and lasts forever. I also use old fasioned fly strips, but I have a tall coop and the chickens can't get tangled in them. Maybe try some of the fly traps on the market.
