Just checked on him and he is doing great! Washed him last night with Dove bar soap and now that he is dry there is little to no stickyness.

My hen got stuck in a fly trap today too.

I felt pretty stupid for not thinking about that.

Anyway, I used oil to get it off of her (canola oil if anyone wonders). Do I need to wash the oil off of her?
