Fly trap dumped in coop

its ok to feel sorry for me and help clean up tomorrow. I hate flies but I hate the smell of those traps worse. It’s going to be a long morning

The worst part is the stupid flies wouldn't even go in it.

I had a lot of flies in my coops and also had mites. I spayed permethrin in the coops to get rid of the mites and an added bonus was it also got rid of the flies. I had to do repeated sprays to kill the mites as they hatched. The flies were terrible but not no more and no egg withdrawal period.

What are you using for bedding in the run?

I use deep litter. Wood chips, leaves, yard and garden waste. The poop gets mixed in, breaks down and doesn't draw flies. I use a poop board in the coop, which helps control flies in there also.
