Flying Cayugas & Campbells

I have 2 Cayuga hens and 2 Khaki Campbell hens. They are about 2 months old at this point. In the past week I saw one of my Cayugas fly about 5 feet while running (not very high - no more than a foot off the ground), and my son said he saw one of the Khaki Campbells fly down into their pool from a platform about a foot above it.

I was under the impression that both of these breeds can't fly. Has anyone seen them fly like this before? Do I have anything to worry about?

They can fly a bit like you have seen but will never get high off the ground for more than a few feet and then splat back down....Have no worries...They won't fly away.....

I have had a Rouen Dake fly 6ft high and land perfectly.They wont be able to fly away though.

My cayuga can clear three or four feet if he's really excited about something, but he usually doesn't.

The young and/or skinny fly much higher than the older, fatter ones, I have a male khacki campbell that keeps flying over the fence, but his mate a fat swedish blue can't, so he flies back to stay near her. They are just now 1 year old.
