Flying Cayugas?!

So most everywhere on the internet says that cayugas cannot fly. I recently happened upon this small paperback book about cayugas specifically. It says that cayugas have no problem flying and that their wings need to be clipped! Can anyone confirm or deny this?

It’s probably referring to the wild Cayuga breed which the domesticated Cayuga is descended from, I believe the wild version the the feral duck went extinct. I have a flock of Cayuga and they don’t fly.
