Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Last month we built a new Run to allow our chickens more room during the day. They started flying & resting on top of the 2 coops in the Run. This was not good because I have a Soft Coated Wheaten that loves to play to rough & killed one that flew out of the Coop / Run. 
so we clipped one of their wings, then both of their wings & then installed electrical wire. They continued to fly on top of the little Coop. We don't know what else to do. Please help if you can.
