I don't really know anything about ducks BUT, the wild mallards out here survive our bitter cold winters- I don't know how, If they find any body of flowing water (even tiny) they are out on it. We also have the Canadian Geese that never migrate. What on earth could they be feeding on?
Whoooooo who! My mallards are flying as of today. Their landings are hysterical! They land head first.
