This roleplay is about birds in an aviary. You can be a coturnix quail, ringneck dove, or golden pheasant. I have never seen a RP like this before, so hopefully this will be a good roleplay.
Setting
This RP takes place in a large aviary. There's a pumpkin plant in one corner of the aviary and a tree branch in another. There is an unfinished walk in building in another corner of the aviary. The bottom half of the first floor of the building is wood, but the top half is made of hardware cloth. The floor is covered in wood chips. There's a door to the outside of the aviary in this building. It has a quail house inside. The quail house has two small openings, one on each end. It's filled with straw, and the lid lifts up. On the other side of the building there is an unfinished quail house. It has no straw in it, and it doesn't have a lid yet. There is no second floor yet. It's just a flat surface with food and water bowls for the doves.
Sorry if that's too many details. I've never created a RP before.
Story
The quail were living peacefully in their brand new aviary until the farmer put golden pheasants in with them. Most quail don't like being pushed around. The problem is that the pheasants don't like being pushed around either. The doves mostly keep to themselves, but they fight with each other quite alot. There are also barn cats that run around the outside of the aviary. They scare the birds inside, and occasionally make it into to the aviary. of course there are wild predators too, but they shouldn't be much of a problem unless a bird escapes.
Humans
The farmer is the one who give the birds water, and treats. She also comes and checks on them each evening. The farmers husband is the one that builds things like the quail houses. The birds don't like him very much. The farmers oldest daughter Emily feeds the birds and gives them treats. She also cares for any injured birds, and collects eggs. The farmers middle daughter Amber helps collect eggs sometimes. Amber and Emily usually check on the birds in the morning. The farmers youngest daughter doesn't pay much attention to the birds.
Ranking
The ranks for quail are top roo, top hen, quail hen, elder, quail roo. The ranks for doves are parent dove, dove chick, lone dove. The ranks for pheasants are top roo, top hen, pheasant hen, elder, pheasant roo. Elders stay in there own little flock. Just to be clear quail elders and pheasant elders are in different elder flocks. Top hens and top roos can be challenged.
