Anubis felt a wave of relief as he felt the cold encasing his body and his eyes drooped shut sleepily. His breathing fell into a steady rhythm and he stopped jerking.

Bastet didn't really hear the large female dragon and ran for Anubis. Reaching out a clawed paw she called a small mouse to her, that was carrying a strange peace of ice. The ice was tiny but Bastet didn't seem to care, she plucked the piece from the mouse's tiny hands and shifted into a small ice dragon. She made the ice grow and grow, slowly encasing Anubis' body, all but the head. Then she turned to Gazer, "That will keep him cool and you won't have so much work to do," she said, "that ice does not melt and can only be controlled by certain types of ice dragon. That is why shifting is so useful!" she added, holding out her tiny, icy dragon paws before shifting back to her cat like dragon form.

Gazer calms down when she sees that anubis is doing better.

Bastet sat and licked her paws and cleaned her face. "So, how did he end up in your den? Why did he follow you?" She absent mindedly pawed at a piece of ice.

Anubis could feel his strength returning, slowly, but surely and moved his tail a little.
 
(sorry Gazer has not been finished due to the fact that I have severe ADHD and I got distracted with drawing fishies!)

"How long," Bastet half demanded. She bared her fangs slightly and hissed quietly. She curled her tail protectively around Anubis. She would not tolerate if her best friend and leader had been betrayed.

Gazer disapeared and walked down a tunnel (she lives in a cave system ) then says through telepathy , " none of your business and besides I was the one trying to save him !" She says
