Bastet caught something to eat and made her way back to her den. She landed and ate her kill just outside.

Monarch reared, offended, “A. I am not rainbowy! I am blue black and green. B. I am not emotiony! I am empathetic!” she flicked her tail irritably and sat down blowing a hole in the ice at her feet with her fire.

" Look ..I didn't mean it like that ...I just don't know what kind of dragon to are ... That's all " gazer says kindly , tryin to calm her friend down .
 
Anubis killed 2 deer far from a human settlement and sniffed both before bringing them back. He flew to Gazer’s den and landed, “Monarch,“ he said, acknowledging the small angry dragon. “I brought food,” he said to Gazer, dropping a deer in front of her and setting upon his own. “I heard you met with Bastet today,” he said casually as he bit into his deer.

Monarch huffed, “I’m a butterfly dragon,” she said irritably.

Gazer was glad that anubis was back and set to work eating her deer," thank you , anubis " she says," yes ..so ?' she says to his second statement .

Anubis chuckled, “She’s not always that bad, she just doesn’t know you is all,” he said.

Monarch huffed again, “Thought it was obvious,” she said turning to leave.

Gazer realized he'd been listening in on her and bastet and felt a little embarrassed ," yes I'm sure your right " she says , not knowing what else to say .

Anubis sighed, “Sorry for listening in, I like to know when others are speaking of me,” he apologized.

Monarch said nothing and flew back to her den and went to sleep.
