Gazer creeps closer and sees an eagle , it almost looks like the one by the entrance of her cave ..the one with chicks ! "What is it doing out here ?"she thinks aloud , then she's sees that's it's feet are stuck in some vines , " hmm , it's not just gonna let me help it !" she thinks , " oh I know , anubis can help !" She says to herself and flies off looking for anubis .
 
Anubis was fast asleep in his den but he woke up with a start, something was wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He excited his den and looked around not seeing anything out of the ordinary. He put his mind out, searching...

Bastet was basking in the sun by the lake, she had already eaten her fill of fish and she didn't know what else to do. She called a badger to her and had it preen her fur.

Gazer felt someone searching her mind and thought "hmm , maybe it's anubis !" , " Anubis ..hello ?" She said thru telepathy

Anubis felt Gazer before he heard her, "Yes Gazer, what is wrong? I can feel something is wrong.." Anubis said through telepathy. He was trotting in her direction, glancing around looking for anything amiss.
 
Bastet glanced over and saw Anubis was worried about something and ran over to him, following quietly.

Gazer hears anubis's voice in her head and looks down , seeing them far below , she swoops down and lands gently . "Oh anubis there you are , I was walking and I found the eagle that nest's by my den ..it's stuck and I can't get it out ! " Gazer says frantically

Anubis searched Gazer's mind for the location of the eagle and started at a run for the poor thing. He found her in a clearing, her feet covered in vines, "Be still Calista," he sent to her through telepathy and she stopped her screeching and stood perfectly still. He walked up and shifted into a cat and severed the vines with his claws. He purred and rubbed against the eagle. He had known her for a long time.

Gazer followed and was so thankfully the poor creature was now safe , " thank you anubis !" , " I noticed her chicks seemed more hungry than usual "

Anubis shifted into an eagle and turning to Gazer said, "Thank you, and yes the chicks have been hungry lately, I visit them from time to time. I though maybe Calista was just slacking some."
