Seriously i hate flys any good ideas how to get rid of the suckers i am fine with them being out side in low numbers but this is crazy we walk in the door and six-ten follow us in each time and with a three year old thats alot of times the door gets opened.

I know how you feel... I have a fly trap outside and a fly tape inside gross i know. Maybe one of those lights that kill bugs? I dont know if it works on flies.

I hear the time 'air freshener' spray killers work very well... If you don't want it in your house, I hear a lot of people just install it above the door outside and it creates a no bug zone around the door...

From what I gather you can buy the Glade/Airwick or generic dispenser and save a lot over the kit linked above, as they are only about $9 at Walmart...

And then just buy the fly killing refills that claim fin in the Glade/Airwick dispenser (some say you might need to cut a little plastic away to make it fit on some models) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002XJ1V4/

I just picked up two Walmart brand dispensers last night to test out, they also have the 5, 15, 30 minutes setting so they were ideal... I have not verified they will work but they claim to be Glade/Airwick compatible so they should... Either way I needed something as my dog had a close encounter with a skunk the other night, and although he wasn't fully sprayed by a skunk it was enough that you can smell it when he is inside...

I'll be testing it with the bug spray as soon as that arrives, living in an hold farm house as soon as the warm spring weather hits the hibernating larvae literally come out of the woodwork...

Don't feel bad about the 'gross' sometimes you have to do what you have to do, I hang fly tape in the house as well and even have a small bug zapper in the house right now...

We had the fly tape for awhile inside(a few months) they cant keep up

any time the land on a window seal lately we be spraying them(with water we have a three year old and an infant) and them when they cant fly we vacuum them up. It works just is never ending
