No odor, I just applied some vaseline. No maggots. Should I still dust her with permethrin dust? How is she doing?
It's really hard to know if they have breached the intestinal wall or not.
Is there a bad odor like infection?

She is still eating and even sang the egg song. She is however still in quarantine. No odor, I just applied some vaseline. No maggots. Should I still dust her with permethrin dust?
How much water to hydrogen peroxide (thats what I have)? You can lightly dust her if she needs it, but keep it away from the wound.
Hopefully you caught it early, but I would still get some chlorhexidine to flush the wound out once a day and get triple antibiotic ointment to put inside the wound.
I would mix 3 parts Peroxide to 1 part water. How much water to hydrogen peroxide (thats what I have)?
Didnt lay an eggShe was acting like she wanted to lay, so I let her out. She is in the nesting box right now, I will check what her egg looks like, all the other eggs have been collected already. Not sure if she will lay though
Still eating, not sure if she is drinking (I am sure she is), and she still is pretty active. I cleaned the wound out one more time yesterday with hydrogen peroxide and water. Today my family will be gone for a gold chunk of the day, so I hope she doesnt have any issues during that time. She wont be getting a morning clean up today. How is she doing today?
