So I don’t exactly know what breed. We bought the eggs for eating and when we drove away from the farm stand I saw a rooster out with the hens. I started up my incubator and threw some in just to see if they would hatch. Luckily I had an order from Meyer Hatchery that came yesterday so we have 7 chicks running around the brooder.

I think you're lucky that you got as good as a hatch as you have probably. Who knows how they were stored and how they were handled before you got them.

Good news guys! I set an alarm for 2:50 and Swedish flower #2 hatched! The cutest chick I've ever seen. I'm in love . Now the other swedish flower hatched soon before I woke up I'm guessing (not twins). The pav is pipped!

Oh my! I'm in love too! Hatching through all of you may be making my obsession worse, lol! Congrats on those precious little babies!

It looks so adorably silly! I LOVE it! You can probably move them to the brooder if it's up to temp. (because you can get better pics from there, lol)

Yes I will. They did break down the barrier and got in with the other eggs on day 20. Will they be ok?

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about that I think they'll be fine. When I do staggered hatches in that incubator I just leave them all in together and I've never had a problem.
