Super risky where I'm at -- it's a long ways to go, and our post offices don't have good reputations for gentle handling. It's too late in the year to try again now, but as soon as it starts to warm up next spring ... I am back on it! :D
 
Good to hear! Glad you didn't give up. Try asking breeders how they package their eggs before you order. It makes all the difference. I got 3 out of 7 (well packaged eggs) vs. 1 out of 9 (horribly packaged eggs, literally just in an egg carton with some packing peanuts).
 
What would you consider to be good packing? I thought these ones were fairly well-packaged, but it did involve an egg carton and a lot of newspaper.
