Thanks for all the support everyone!!! Every hatch is such a wonderful experience. I never dreamed it could have gone this smoothly.

A few of the kids parents have come in in the mornings to view the chicks - and more people want chicks than I have to give, so I very well may have another hatch along in the very near future! we will see! (I hope so!!)

Oh that's awesome. So wonderful that you can hatch eggs for the kids to see and be able to find homes for all the sweet chicks.

The final chick just hatched!!! I think it was King, I’ll have to double check when I get to the classroom!!!
@SunriseChickers sorry it’s a little hard to see that camera is in night mode but he is the dark chick right in the front! What luck to have caught his hatch right in front of the camera when 14 of his siblings were also in there

@Debbie292d Pinky Pie and @akroberts1085 Girdy also hatched last night as I can see the shells but was not able to capture them via my hatch cam. I will see if I can pick them out - Pinky Pie is a yellow and Girdy is one of the Easter egger crosses from my friends eggs, so she looks like she has the darker brown feathers

I am kind of stunned that ALL 19 eggs hatched!!! I am SO thankful and SO grateful!!!! I will add more pictures today of all the sweet little fluffs when I get to school. 100% hatch rate, WOOHOO!!! I sure do like that NR360! Wow! And thank you all so much for your input and help throughout the process. I feel like I learned so much this time around too.

I feed Nutrena All Flock! It's nothing super fancy or too expensive for a smaller flock - but can't argue with these results! We will have to see how the next hatch goes, another parent confirmed she would like an additional dozen, so I will be setting about 12 more eggs on Saturday!

I fed Nutrena for several years but the last few years it has been so infested with grain mites I had to switch, I've never been happy with a feed since then unfortunately.

Have you tried BarAle feed? My chickens and ducks both are on that and they give me an attitude if I'm not able to get it

I'm not familiar with that one, I'll have to see if it in available locally here. I've been using Kalmbach but I'm not super pleased with it.

I buy the mini pellet layer feed. And I buy a scratch grain with grubs, although I am not sure if it's BarAle or not but they love it.
