Hi everyone,
I am not new to having chickens. Rather I grew up in the country and we had chickens for most of my childhood. I am not ashamed to admit: I LOVE CHICKENS!!!!
Last spring we were planning on moving to a 10 acre lot, but that fell through. My husband and I decided as an early gift to ourselves to follow my dream of having chickens again and got a beautiful coop and some peeps. As previously mentioned, we didn't move and we truly are backyard chicken owners now.
We have 1 White-Crested Black Polish, 2 Silkie Americauna mixes, 1 Seabright, 1 Blue Silkie, and 1 Plymouth Barred Rock. They all have differing personalities and we find watching them more entertaining than TV!
I am glad I finally subscribed and I look forward to learning from your experiences and your helpful advice.
