food change

Hello all. I have 4 rir that I have already started feeding lay food and I have to buf orps that I was going to start feeding lay food in about three weeks. My fat geman shepard Nina has found out that chicken food can be quite tasty and now I only have enough for a few days. I can only get feed in 25 to 50 pound bags how soon can I change thier food without hurting them.

how old are they? usually around laying age is when you put them on laying food-if they are only a few weeks away I dont think it will bother them too much-its just that they may get too much of a good thing that their bodies can't digest and absorb properly calcium I believe in their kidneys??
