Food (egg) safety in 106 degrees

How long can ungathered eggs be in the coop?
I live in NorCal and the temp reached 106 the last few days.
I have about 16 eggs (4 a day) that were in the coop in those conditions.
Not sure if they are still good to eat since it was so hot

I normally collect then every 3 days.

There should not be a problem with eating your eggs but they may show some signs of incubation. Just break them into a cup and use the tip of a butter knife or spoon to remove the tiny chicken embryo. As far as bacteria is concerned just cook your eggs before eating them.

Well, you don't have to, but it's good idea...especially in extreme weather conditions.

In the winter here I've had to collect as often as once an hour to ensure eggs don't freeze, if I lived somewhere it got that hot I'd be gathering at least daily.
