Food issues need help!!!!!!!

im new to the whole chicken thing. (have my first 17 eggs in the bator) im not sure what to feed the chickens. Need help!

It's pretty simple.
Feed new chicks chick starter. In some places it's sold as chick starter, others it's chick starter/grower. If it's plain chick starter you feed it for about 6 to 8 weeks, then switch to grower. Chick starter/grower you feed until such time as you get your first egg or 18 to 20 weeks, whichever comes first.
Chick starter comes in medicated and non-medicated. Some folks prefer the non-medicated, but I like the extra protection from coccidia that the medicated provides.
Once you reach that first egg/18 to 20 weeks mark, you switch to layer feed and supplement with oyster shell.
