It's not supposed to work on grapes, either. I havent tried that yet. My complaint is that it only has one screen and it's rather fine. It would be nice to have a coarser screen for larger seeded work, to help prevent clogging issues.
I've thought about looking for a cheap hand mill but I don't need it often enough to justify it. I do use the kitchen aid for big batches of stuff fairly often.
I also love the meat grinder you can get in the same package.
Make sure you buy the larger tray separately.
