This may seem silly, but we put up a hanging feeder, and it seems the food does not "go down". The girls will eat what is in the rim, and then it seems the food gets stuck in the middle instead of flowing down to the rim.
I hope that makes sense?
When we got the hanging feeder, I also switched to scratch style feed, that did not work at all. They pecked out the feed, and all that was left in the rim was meal. So I switched back to my regular feed, and though it is better, it still is not flowing. I have gone out and my girls have been hungry . I basically have to take the food and put it in the rim by hand. Obviously, that is not practical.
There is plenty of space between the inside "chute" and the plate/rim.
Any advice? Thank you .
