What should I be feeding my chickens besides their layer feed?

If they free range then just the layer feed and some grit is fine.

You can give them most kinds of vegetable - the green leafy ones are the best. They can have mealworms or household scraps as treats - but avoid processed human food of sweet stuff - not healthy for them.

Mine also like some mixed grains (from my doves leftover food) as treats.
