No but I hate jalapeños lolHave you tried it?
Yeah I used to try everything too but I also hate jalapeños so definitely not for me lolWhen my children were young I encouraged them to try new things. When we were invited to someone's home for a meal, if they didn't care for anything on their plate, they were taught to say, "that's very interesting". Anything that might hurt their hosts and they would hear about manners from momma on the way home.
That said, I do not care for jalapenos and don't think this combination is for me.
No, not yet. My next physical is in July.Good for you! And good luck, too.
Do you know yet if it's working?
I need to eat more vegetables. I keep buying them and then letting them go badNo, not yet. My next physical is in July.
One of my neighbors had a heart attack. This has been a wake up call for hubby and me. We're exercising on the elliptical now (it's languished in the basement for about 5 years), and even though I've been a fan of vegetables, I'm looking to add more to my diet.
A lot of eating is habit. Make the habits easy and you stick with them. I made a habit of eating brown rice (not white rice). I like stir fried rice, and adding greens is an easy add.I need to eat more vegetables.
Really? I feel its sane compared to the pickle, alfalfa and peanut butter sandwiches...Yeah. Now see, that's something I never would've thought to try and exactly the sort of thing that belongs in this thread. Thanks for sharing.
... and actually the lime on roasted corn does sound worthy of a try at least once.
All great ideas! Thanks!!A lot of eating is habit. Make the habits easy and you stick with them. I made a habit of eating brown rice (not white rice). I like stir fried rice, and adding greens is an easy add.
I thought I didn't like chard. Someone suggested I try it steamed or sauteed. I LOVE it in fried rice. Easy add. And chard should be easy to grow in my garden too. Win!
I found I like beet greens and collards too. Yellow beets are ok, so I no longer hate beets.
